I wanted to talk about linking our houses. If we each get a room add on for our houses, we could link those rooms together into one room with my powers. Then with hedgegates in those doors, we basically connect our houses and live together without moving anything.

That's not what I was expecting you to bring up? What gave you this idea? Not that it's a problem or I'm against it.

Just...how come?

It's two fold. One, I think it would be good for the three of us from this our world. Dad can come over but living here is a stretch for the rules.

Two, to keep an eye on you. In a friendly kind of way. Also so you can always just knock and have some people close you can trust if needed.

And three, just seems like a good idea.

Oh...that makes sense. I don't have a problem with it, and I have a few of those house expansion tickets so making a space to connect shouldn't be hard.

Then we can get to work as we have some too, Esme and I. So it'll be easy to get it all set up. Then you and I set up the hedge gates and we're good.

We can have it up and running in the week.

I figured you were more dark fantasy. I could have said musicals but those can be any genre. Like music in general.

Fair enough guess, honestly. I do like dark fantasy. A lot. Musicals too but like you said. They expand beyond one genre.

Give me Sleepy Hollow really. Or like The Haunting of Hill House. But I thought Saw might be more your speed so I went there. Was I wrong?

No you weren't wrong. And you have good taste. I like 13 Ghosts so Saw is in my like. The animated Sleepy Hollow is still my all time favorite though.

You got good taste. Loved that one as a kid. My mom Toni didn't much but I think it was because it scared her as a kid.

It's an intense cartoon for kids. Mom never understood why I didn't scream the first time I saw it.

Why do you think you didn't scream?

I was too hooked on the action of the moment. And it was just cool fun. Now I'm just less likely to scream if I get scared.

Well if horror has taught us anything. Not screaming can save your life, am I right?

Seven out of ten times, I'd say yes. The other times they just freeze up altogether.

It is a natural mortal response. Flight, Fight, Freeze or...uh. There is a fourth one and I don't remember it right now.
